Greenblatt Nominated for NW Coach of the Year

Congratulations to AJRA Head Coach and Varsity Men’s Head Coach Sam
Greenblatt, who was nominated for Northwest Rowing Coach of the Year.
Before joining AJRA, Greenblatt was Junior Men’s Coach at Sammamish
Rowing Association in Seattle, where most recently, the Men’s
Lightweight 4+ placed 1st at US Rowing Youth Nationals in 2011.
Greenblatt was recognized as one of four nominees at the NW Rowing
Awards Reception on Feb. 4. He said he was honored to be in the
company of the other nominees, especially given that the winner was
his college coach: Michael Callahan, Head Men’s Coach at University
of Washington.
