Bio: Began rowing in 1998 as a freshman lightweight at Dartmouth College. Rowed varsity lightweight for 3 years. Competed at Eastern Sprints, Canadian Henley, Henley Royal Regatta, IRA Championship, and the USRowing National Championship. Certified by USRowing at Intermediate Level III, holds a Ph.D. in Math.

Profession: Graduate Student, pursuing PhD in Anthropology (nutrition, human biology, evolution)

Graduate School: Emory University
Coaching: 5 years
Rowing: 9 years
Bio: Rowed 4 years at the University of Michigan, competing multiple times at the Head of the Charles ECAC/Avaya Championships, and IRA Regattas. Invited to 2001 Lightweight National Team Selection Camp. Since 2003 has variously coached the Emory University Varsity Men, Varsity Women, Novice Men, and currently serves as team advisor. Certified by USRowing at Intermediate Level III, Bryce is a voracious reader and commits to his coaching and professional education with the same passion he encourages from his athletes. Bryce stays fit as a semi-competitive runner, and though his PhD studies center on nutrition, he continues to suffer from a raging sweet tooth!

Coached novice women and varsity women at Emory for 2 years. US Rowing certified, Level III. Julie enjoys volleyball, marathons, international traveling, and chocolate chip cookies.

Earned a 1st in a Double and a 2nd in a Single at the 2001 Georgia Games.
