As you can imagine, putting together a High School rowing program takes a lot of effort, parent volunteer time and money to be successful. Competitive Rowing is an expensive sport to operate with high equipment costs, extensive coaching, travel, lodging and associated operating costs. AJRA strives to have the best program, equipment and training as possible for our kids. However, we recognize that kids new to the program may find that they are not enjoying the experience as much as originally hoped. This process generally occurs quickly in the training cycle and in response we have developed a Refund Policy that acknowledges this fact. However, it has to be recognized that space on the team is limited and once the training cycle is underway it is difficult to re-fill a seat vacated, especially one vacated later in the season. Therefore, our refund policy also takes into account that the organization incurs costs regardless of whether a rower stays in the program. Therefore, by Approval of the Board of Directors our Refund Policy is as follows:
Varsity/Novice:
- Season Fees are Fully Refundable up to January 31st (first week from the start of full practice schedule) less an administrative fee of $50
- After January 31st Season Fees are no longer refundable
Development Squad:
- Season Fees are Fully Refundable up to February 8th (first week from the start of full practice schedule) less an administrative fee of $50
- After February 8th Season Fees are no longer refundable
